I am looking for a jr. frontend engineer position in Seattle or remote. Contact me on LinkedIn
I'm self taught and have been learning frontend development through various free resources on the web, such as The Odin Project, freeCodeCamp, and CodeCademy.
Born and raised in Mississippi, I've always been drawn to the tech world. My love for computers started at an early age with video games, and about a year ago I discovered my passion for frontend development! I moved to Seattle with a dream of becoming a software developer. I'm excited to meet new people and start a career doing something I love!
LPM is an isomorphic Next.js game where 350 daily players practice typing. The front end server-side renders from Netlify edge nodes, and the back end operates with AWS lambda and serverless MongoDB. I've been working on a team with Gage Langdon, and Davon Whitworth to increase user interaction time. I was responsible for developing LPM's song submission and admin moderation user interfaces. These interfaces have saved us dozens of work hours by supporting community-provided content. I continue to maintain these by responding to user feedback via Hotjar and Amplitude metrics.
